Volunteer trees are trees that have not been intentionally planted on a property or on a street right-of-way, and are typically, but are not limited to, the nuisance types of trees identified in Section 151.12 of this chapter. Volunteer trees include trees that produce many seeds and have a high germination rate, and are by definition a nuisance.
