Whenever a snow and ice nuisance exists upon any property, a City official may serve notice upon the owner, owner’s agent, or occupant of the property to abate the nuisance within 48 hours or within a stated longer period if the City official determines it necessary to avoid undue hardship, under the nuisance abatement procedures outlined in Chapter 50 of this Code of Ordinances.
