§ 50.99  PENALTY.
   (A)   Violation of the above stated provisions of this chapter, upon proof of guilt, shall subject the violator to a fine of not less than $25, but no more than $500.
   (B)   Any person and/or entity found to have opened a fire hydrant without first having received the written permission of an officer or employee of the village shall pay a fine between $25 and $500 plus the then applicable per gallon cost of the amount of water used as estimated by the village.
