The Superintendent of Water and Streets, or anyone authorized by him or her, shall have the right at any time to inspect any premises, and the plumbing therein, to ascertain whether or not said plumbing is in a good state of repair, and if the owner of said premises shall not, within five days after the written notice, cause the same to be repaired in compliance with the request of the Superintendent of Water and Streets, then the village reserves the right to disconnect said property from the waterworks system.
