(A) The village adopts the prohibitions on accepting gifts contained in the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act, 5 ILCS 430/1-1 et seq. and applies its restrictions to its own officials and employees.
(B) To the extent that this code is more restrictive than the State Officials and Employee Ethics Act, 5 ILCS 430/1-1 et seq., then the provisions of this code shall prevail.
