§ 150.24  RECORDING PLATS.
   Whenever any street, alley, or avenue shall be laid out, altered, or widened, it shall be the duty of the President and Board of Trustees to cause a plat thereof to be made, showing the width, courses, and extent thereof, and making such reference to known and established corners or monuments that the location thereof may be ascertained and have the same recorded in the Recorder’s office of the proper county; and when any street, alley, or avenue is vacated, the ordinance vacating the same shall be in like manner recorded. The fees for recording shall be paid by the village.
