§ 92.20  FORM AND METHOD OF SERVICE OF NOTICE.
   (A)   The notice/citation shall allow the person, persons, firm, partnership, or corporation five days to remove or abate the described nuisance; and in the event the nuisance is not so removed or abated, the provisions of this subchapter shall apply. The notice/citation shall be given by personal service or by certified or registered mail, addressed to the person, persons, firm, partnership, or corporation in actual physical control, possession, or occupation of the premises in question or engaging in the conduct that constitutes the nuisance.
   (B)   In the event that no person, persons, firm, partnership, or corporation shall be in actual physical control, possession, or occupation of the property and/or the property appears to have been abandoned, the Chief of Police may:
      (1)   Post the notice/citation on the front door of the property; and
      (2)   Enclose a copy of same in an envelope addressed to the “Current Owners/Occupants” at the address of the property with first class postage fully prepaid and depositing same for mailing with United States Postal Service.
