(A) It shall be unlawful for anyone to park any vehicle on Jefferson Street between Chestnut and Maple Streets for more than three hours between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
(B) (1) Because Jefferson Street in the village is a part of Illinois State Bond Issue Highway No. 89 and because of the large amount of traffic on said street, it is necessary to provide certain restrictions and regulations concerning the parking thereon.
(2) Because State Street in the village is adjacent to, and leads to and from, the grade school which is located in the village, and because a large amount of traffic is on said street, it is necessary to provide certain restrictions and regulations concerning the parking thereon, and no automobile or other motor vehicles shall be allowed to park on State Street.
(3) No person shall suffer or permit the parking of automobiles and other motor vehicles on Jefferson Street from State Street to Chestnut Street on either the west side or east side of said street.
(C) (1) At any time it shall be unlawful to permit any vehicle to stand or be parked on the north side of Magnolia Street from Jefferson Street (Illinois State Bond Issue Highway No. 89) to Madison Street within the village.
(2) It shall be unlawful for anyone to park any vehicle on the south side of Magnolia Street from Jefferson Street (Illinois State Bond Issue Highway No. 89) to Madison Street within the village for more than three hours at any time.
(3) The Police Department is hereby authorized to remove and tow away, or have removed and towed away by commercial towing service, any car or other vehicle illegally parked where parking has been prohibited.
(4) Cars so towed away at owners’ expense for illegal parking shall be stored in a safe place and shall be restored to the owner or operator of such car upon the payment of a fee of $10 within 24 hours after such car was removed, plus $5 for each additional 24 hours or fraction thereof.
(D) Parking will be prohibited on State and Jefferson Streets located within the corporate limits extending from the north village limits westerly and southerly to Chestnut Street, and parking other than parallel to the curbs will be prohibited on Jefferson Street between Chestnut Street and Maple Street.
(E) It shall be unlawful for any person to park or to permit automobiles and other motor vehicles to be parked on the north side of Chestnut Street from Jefferson Street to a point 175 feet east of Jefferson Street.
(F) It shall be unlawful for any person to, at any time, permit or allow any motor vehicle registered in the name of, or operated by, such person to be parked on the street on the south side of Chestnut Street between Jefferson Street and the first alley to the west of Jefferson Street in the village.
(G) (1) On the westerly side of said building on Jefferson Street, parking shall be allowed as posted pursuant to previous ordinance. On the easterly side of said building located on Madison Street, parking shall be restricted to postal office customers for a period of time not to exceed five minutes, for a distance of 90 feet on Madison Street, immediately adjacent to the United States post office building, which restricted parking shall be clearly marked and posted by proper signs.
(2) The parking restricted at the United States post office set forth in this division (G) shall be restricted during the following hours: 6:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. on each Monday through Friday and 6:00 a.m. through 12:00 noon on Saturday. Parking at all other times shall not be restricted.
(3) Any person violating this provision of this division (G) shall, upon conviction, be fined $10 for each offense.
(H) On days when two or more inches of snow are called for, it shall be illegal to park on Parkside Drive from Route 89 to Francis Street, on Walnut Street from Francis Street to Route 89, on Francis Street from Parkside Drive to Walnut Street, on State Street from Route 89 to Main Street, and on Main Street from State Street to Route 89.
