§ 131.03 FLEEING A POLICE OFFICER.
   (A)   Definitions. For purposes of this section, the term “peace officer” shall be that set forth in M.S. § 609.487, Subd. 2. For the purposes of this section, the term “flee” means to elude or attempt to elude a peace officer by means other than a motor vehicle following a request to stop given by a peace officer.
   (B)   Penalty. Whoever, by the means other than a motor vehicle, flees or attempts to flee a peace officer who is acting in the lawful discharge of an official duty, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
