Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and also the owner’s license may be revoked for a period not exceeding one year. Violation of this chapter three times in a one-year period by any dog or cat owner will cause automatic revocation of said animal license. Said person will not be eligible for a dog or cat license for a one-year period. Any person whose license is revoked shall transfer ownership of the dog or cat and provide for its removal from the premises within ten days.
