§ 154.031 I-2, MODERATE INDUSTRY DISTRICT.
   (A)   Purpose. The purpose of the I-2, Moderate Industry District is to provide for a full range of industrial uses to be located in areas set aside specifically for industry, compatible commercial uses and support services.
   (B)   Permitted principal uses.
      (1)   Refer to Table 6-1.
      (4)   Some permitted uses have requirements that are presented in §§ 154.109 through 154.143, Specific Development Requirements. Refer also to §§ 154.148 through 154.169, General Development Requirements.
   (C)   Conditional principal uses.
      (1)   Refer to Table 6-1.
      (2)   Refer to §§ 154.109 through 154.143 for specific conditions that must be met for approval of some Conditional Uses. Refer also to §§ 154.148 through 154.169, General Development Requirements.
   (D)   Accessory uses.
      (1)   Refer to Table 6-2.
      (2)   Refer to §§ 154.109 through 154.143 and §§ 154.148 through 154.169 for conditions that must be met for approval of certain accessory uses.
   (E)   Prohibited uses.
      (1)   Distillation of bone, coal, tar, petroleum, grain or wood;
      (2)   Manufacturing or bulk storage of explosives;
      (3)   Fertilizer manufacturing, compost or storage processing of garbage, offal, dead animals, refuse or rancid fats;
      (4)   Livestock feeding yards, slaughter houses or processing plants; and
      (5)   Any industry that creates an excessive odor, noise or air pollution problem.
   (F)   Dimensional requirements.

   (G)   Industrial driveways shall be a maximum of 28 feet in width at the property of two lanes, a maximum of 36 feet in width at the property line if three lanes and shall have a maximum slope of 10%. The City Engineer may, at their discretion, allow adjustments to industrial driveway widths, flares, or radii to accommodate large trucks.
   (H)   Specific development requirements.
      (1)   Some conditional uses and some permitted uses have specific requirements that are presented in §§ 154.109 through 154.143, Specific Development Requirements.
      (2)   Refer to Table 5-1 for the uses that have specific requirements.
   (I)   General development requirements. Development requirements that apply to all uses are presented in §§ 154.148 through 154.169, General Development Requirements. All buildings are subject to the exterior building requirements section of the General Development Requirements.
