(A) Purpose. The purpose of the I-2, Moderate Industry District is to provide for a full range of industrial uses to be located in areas set aside specifically for industry, compatible commercial uses and support services.

(E) Prohibited uses.
(1) Distillation of bone, coal, tar, petroleum, grain or wood;
(2) Manufacturing or bulk storage of explosives;
(3) Fertilizer manufacturing, compost or storage processing of garbage, offal, dead animals, refuse or rancid fats;
(4) Livestock feeding yards, slaughter houses or processing plants; and
(5) Any industry that creates an excessive odor, noise or air pollution problem.

(G) Industrial driveways shall be a maximum of 28 feet in width at the property of two lanes, a maximum of 36 feet in width at the property line if three lanes and shall have a maximum slope of 10%. The City Engineer may, at their discretion, allow adjustments to industrial driveway widths, flares, or radii to accommodate large trucks.
