§ 35.04 BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION ON PUBLIC SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITIONS.
    The Department Head responsible for the public safety sensitive position employee shall furnish the application or copy of the application of the applicant for a public safety sensitive position to the Chief of Police. The Chief of Police or his/her designee shall complete a criminal record check for background check crimes and drivers license record check of the applicant. The Chief of Police shall disclose convictions for background check crimes to the responsible Department Head and City Manager.
