(A) Any person, firm, or corporation who or which shall violate any provisions of this chapter pertaining to the operation of taxicabs or motor vehicles for hire shall upon conviction pay a fine of $50 for each offense or violation, and each day the offense occurs shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
(B) In addition, the court shall have the power to revoke the license or permit of the driver.
