Except as the same may be in conflict with the laws of the state and the ordinances of the town, there is hereby adopted, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, the most recent edition of the International Fire Code and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated in this chapter as fully as if set out at length herein and the provisions hereof shall be controlling within the limits of the town.
