§ 33.09  UNIFORMS AND POLICE EQUIPMENT.
   (A)   The Chief of Police shall prescribe the uniforms and badge design for the members of the Police Department and direct the manner in which the members of the Department shall be armed.
   (B)   Anyone other than a member of the Police Department who shall wear the uniform or badge shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction be fined or imprisoned as set forth under the provisions of G.S. § 14-4.
