(A) (1) Members of the Police Department shall be appointed by the Chief of Police and shall be entitled to pay and allowances as may from time to time be fixed by the Board.
(2) Provided, however, that all members must meet the requirements set forth in the Criminal Justice Training and Standards Act of 1973, as amended.
(B) Before assuming duty as a police officer, each officer shall swear and subscribe to the oath of office and shall be subject to the provisions as set forth in the certain Policy and Procedures Manual of the Police Department of the Town of Warsaw, which is incorporated by reference and fully made a part of this section, the same as if it were set forth herein.
