503.02 ADVERTISING ON PUBLIC PROPERTY.
   (a)    No person, without the written permission of the Building Commissioner, shall stick, post or attach any advertisement, poster, sign, handbill or placard of any kind or description upon any telephone, railway, electric or other utility pole within the limits of the Municipality, or upon any public building, voting booth, flagging, curbstone, walk, step, stone, or sidewalk, or write, print or impress or in any manner attach any notice or advertisement of any kind upon any public building, voting booth, flagging, curbstone, step, stone or sidewalk, the property of the Municipality, or within the street lines of the Municipality, or over which the Municipality or Council has the care, custody or control, except such as may be required by the laws of the State or the ordinances of the Municipality.

   (b)    Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
