The 2021 International Energy Conservation Code, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., and amended by the State of Illinois, shall be, and the same is hereby adopted as the Energy Conservation Code of the City of Warrenville in the State of Illinois, 2021 edition of the International Solar Energy Provisions®, including appendix U: Solar-Ready Provisions - Detached One- and Two-Family Dwellings, Multiple Single-Family Dwellings (Townhouses), as published by the International Code Council, Inc., shall be, and the same is hereby adopted as the Solar Energy Code of the City of Warrenville in the State of Illinois, regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of solar energy systems as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said 2021 edition of the International Solar Energy Provisions® are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in section 8-6-4 of this chapter.
