The city will annually sponsor Fourth Of July events including, but not limited to, a parade, a picnic, a canoe race, water fights, a jog-in, a bike-a-thon, an arts and crafts show, a flea market, children's games, bingo, food concessions, horseshoe pitching, musical entertainment, and pony rides.
The duration of scheduled Fourth Of July events may vary from year to year, and include extra days before and/or after the Fourth Of July. (Ord. 577, 6-15-1981)
