5-3-4: PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES, GENERAL RULES:
It shall be unlawful at any time to permit any vehicle to stand or park in any of the following places except as may be necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or of a traffic control light, sign or device: (Ord. 2027, 11-4-2002)
   A.   On any bridge, on any overpass or in any underpass.
   B.   In, or within twenty feet (20') of, any intersection or crosswalk.
   C.   Within thirty feet (30') of any traffic signal or sign.
   D.   At any place blocking a driveway.
   E.   Within twenty feet (20') of the driveway entrance to any fire department station, and on the side of the street opposite to any such station within fifty feet (50') of such entrance.
   F.   On any parkway or sidewalk.
   G.   Along or opposite to any street excavation or obstruction when such parking would obstruct traffic.
   H.   At any place where the standing of a vehicle would reduce the usable width of the roadway to less than eighteen feet (18').
   I.   On private property without the consent of the owner or occupant.
   J.   At any place where official signs, permanent or temporary, prohibit parking.
   K.   Within fifteen feet (15') of any fire hydrant. (Ord. 695, 3-19-1984)
   L.   On Tracy Place. (Ord. 2970, 12-21-2015)
   M.   By making a left turn to enter an angle parking stall serving the oncoming lane of traffic.
   N.   By backing out of an angle parking space to proceed in the opposite lane of traffic.
   O.   On any street, other than by stopping or parking with the right hand wheels of the vehicle parallel to and within twelve inches (12") of the right hand curb, or as close as practicable to the right edge of the right hand shoulder. (Ord. 695, 3-19-1984)
   P.   In a posted fire lane. (Ord. 870, 12-15-1986)
   Q.   On any part of a street where the parked vehicle's location would impair or obstruct access to a resident's mailbox by the postal service and prevent the actual delivery of that day's mail. (Ord. 2027, 11-4-2002)
   R.   No person may stop, park, or leave standing upon a public street, highway, or roadway a vehicle upon which is displayed an Illinois registration plate or plates or registration sticker after the termination of the registration period for which the registration plate or plates or registration sticker was issued.
