A. Any bicycle used on the public street shall be in a safe and operable condition with a brake capable of stopping the rotation of the braked wheel on smooth dry pavement.
B. If used during the hours of darkness, a bicycle shall carry a white light on the front visible from a distance of five hundred feet (500') and a red reflector or light on the rear, visible in the light of an automobile headlight for a distance of three hundred feet (300').
C. A person riding a bicycle shall drive on the right side of the road and shall observe all pertinent traffic rules. (Ord. 61, 3-11-1969)
