A. The police department shall charge a booking fee for all legal process, arrests, civil and criminal offenses. The amount of the booking fee shall be thirty dollars ($30.00).
B. In the event the arrestee is acquitted or the case is dismissed, the fee shall be refunded within thirty (30) days of the arrestee's written request to the police department for such refund. The chief of police shall develop a procedure for persons not convicted to request a refund of the fee which procedure shall be in writing and provided to all persons arrested. (Ord. 2876, 8-18-2014)
