3-2-12: LICENSE RENEWAL:
Any licensee may renew his license at the expiration thereof, provided he is then qualified to receive a license and the premises for which such license is sought are suitable for such purpose, and provided he complies with the regulations and ordinances then in force and effect in the city governing the issuance of retail liquor licenses; and provided further, that renewal privileges herein provided for shall not be construed as a vested right which shall in any case prevent the local liquor control commissioner from decreasing the number of licenses to be issued within the jurisdiction in accordance with the then existing ordinances of the city. Applicant shall pay all fees required at the time said renewal application is made. All applications for renewal shall be submitted no more than thirty (30) days prior to the expiration thereof. Any application for renewal submitted after April 15, shall be charged a renewal fee equal to the initial license fee for the given class of license. Such applications shall be made and proceed in the same manner provided for in section 3-2-5 of this chapter. (Ord. 2730, 6-18-2012)
