§ 32.38  SPECIAL POLICE OFFICERS.
   When, in the judgment of the Town Council and the Town Marshal, the safety of persons or property in the town requires additional police protection, the President of the Town Council  may appoint special  police officers, in such numbers, for such time, and at such compensation as may be prescribed by the Town Council by appropriate action.  Said appointed police officers shall perform the usual duties of police officers, and the Town Marshal shall execute the orders of the Town Council and see that the ordinances of the town are enforced.
