§ 32.17  DUTIES OF SECRETARY- TREASURER.
   It shall be the duty of the Secretary-Treasurer to keep a permanent record of the membership of the Fire  Department, the fire  runs made, the  time each of the members were on duty at each fire, and all other matters affecting the conduct of the Fire Department and the compensation of firefighter.  The record shall be open to public inspection at all times.  The Secretary-Treasurer shall make a financial report to the Town Clerk-Treasurer as soon after the first of December as possible. Claims of the Fire Department for services in attending fires shall be prepared from the record kept by the Secretary-Treasurer, and shall be presented to the Clerk-Treasurer in the manner proscribed by IC 36-5-4-6 for consideration of allowance by the Town Council.
