(A) Any person who shall harbor, maintain, or operate for gain any article or device herein mentioned without first purchasing and obtaining therefor a license as herein provided, shall, on conviction, be fined in any sum not to exceed $250 and device fees. ('83 Code, § 3-9 V.)
(B) Where an act or omission is prohibited or declared unlawful in this chapter and no penalty is otherwise provided, the offender shall be fined not more than $2500 for each offense of violation. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day that a violation occurs or continues.
