It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, association or corporation to keep any swine within the corporate limits of the town within 75 feet of any residence, business house, or office therein. When kept at a greater distance therefrom than 75 feet, the sty or pen in which the sane are kept shall be so kept that no offensive odors will be emitted therefrom to the annoyance of the public, or of any person or persons residing in the vicinity thereof; however, it shall not be a violation of this chapter to keep such swine in stock pens for such period of time as is actually required in marketing the same, said pens to be kept in a reasonably clean and sanitary condition at all times.
