No golf cart shall be operated on a town street between the time of one-half hour after sunset and one-half hour before sunrise unless the golf cart is registered under this chapter and equipped with two headlamps, two tail lamps, front and rear turn lamps, and rear brake lamps, all of which must be visible from a distance of at least 500 feet.
