§ 70.05  VEHICLE RESTRICTIONS.
   In accordance with IC 9-20- 1-3, the following restrictions apply only to commercial vehicles which are not traveling on state highways.
   (A)   Load restrictions.  No person shall operate a vehicle with a gross weight in excess of the amounts specified on signs posted on any public way.
   (B)   Commercial vehicle prohibitions.  No person shall operate a commercial vehicle upon any public way where signs posted prohibit entering, except upon authority given by an authorized traffic officer.
   (C)   Vehicle size limitation.  No person shall operate any vehicle exceeding any dimensions posted on signs on any public way.
   (D)   Tractors with cleats, and the like.  No person shall operate a tractor, traction engine or similar vehicle having cleats, angle irons, spikes, lugs or other rough surfaces on its wheels which may damage the public way over which it is traveling, without a written permit to do so from the Clerk- Treasurer.
