§ 53.07  DISCHARGE OF STORMWATER AND OTHER UNPOLLUTED DRAINAGE.
   (A)   No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged any stormwater, surface water, ground water, roof runoff, subsurface drainage, cooling water, or unpolluted industrial process waters to any sanitary sewer. Roof drains (downspouts) shall be removed from the combined sewer system whenever possible.
   (B)   Stormwater and all other unpolluted drainage shall  be discharged to such sewers as are specifically designated as combined sewers or storm  sewers, or to a natural outlet approved by the Superintendent. Industrial cooling water or unpolluted process waters may be discharged upon approval of the Superintendent, to a storm sewer, combined sewer, or natural outlet. Stormwater and all other unpolluted drainage shall be conveyed to the combined sewer system separate from any sanitary sewer drainage in all new construction. All new connections to the combined sewer system shall be designed and constructed in a manner to minimize or delay inflow to the combined sewer system.
   (C)   The town shall prohibit the construction of new combined sewer systems.
