(A) Before being used to supply water for human consumption, all newly constructed wells shall be inspected and found to comply with the provisions of this chapter. Any repairs to a well which necessitate breaking the well’s seal, shall be inspected by the Health Department before use. The Health Department shall make these inspections as soon as practicable after receiving notice that an installation or repair has been made.
(B) Emergency repairs that are made outside normal working hours of the Health Department (i.e., nights, week-ends, and holidays) shall be inspected on the next regular working day or as soon as practicable thereafter.
