§ 157.145  COMPOSITION.
   (A)    The Warren County Board of Commissioners shall create a Board of Adjustment consisting of five members. The initial appointment to the Board of Adjustment shall be as follows:
      (1)   Two members shall be appointed for three year terms.
      (2)   Two members shall be appointed for two year terms.
      (3)   One member shall be appointed for a one year term.
      (4)   Thereafter, all new terms shall be for three years, and members may be reappointed.
   (B)   The Board of Commissioners shall also appoint two alternate members to serve in the absence of regular members. Both the initial appointment and new terms shall be for three years, and alternate members may be reappointed. Each alternate member, while attending any regular or special meeting of the Board of Adjustment and serving in the absence of any regular member, shall have and may exercise all the powers and duties of a regular member.
   (C)   All members, before entering their duties, shall take an oath of office as required by G.S. § 153A-26.
