§ 157.086  OFF-STREET LOADING.
   (A)    Where off-street loading space is required in a particular zoning district, one or more loading berths or other space shall be provided for standing, loading and unloading operations either inside or outside a building and on the same or adjoining premises. A loading berth shall have minimum plan dimensions of 12 feet by 60 feet and 14 feet overhead clearance. A loading space need not be necessarily a full berth but shall be sufficient to allow normal loading and unloading operations of a kind and magnitude appropriate to the property served. The Planning and Zoning Administrator shall determine the sufficiency of loading space, but in no case shall the use of such space hinder the free movement of vehicles and pedestrians over a street, sidewalk or alley. The number of required off street loading spaces shall be as follows:
   (A)   Retail business. One space for each 20,000 square feet of gross floor area, or fraction thereof.
   (B)   Wholesale trade/industries. One space for each 20,000 square feet of gross floor area or fraction thereof.
   (C)   Office or institution, including schools. One space for each 50,000 square feet of gross floor area or fraction thereof.
