Pursuant to G.S. § 160D-803, all final plats shall be prepared, approved, and recorded pursuant to the provisions of this chapter whenever any subdivision of land takes place in the county. Plats shall bear the Review Officer and Planning Board Representative or its authorized representative’s signature prior to recordation in the Register of Deeds office.
