Any zoning permit issued shall become invalid unless the work authorized by it shall have been commenced within six months of its date of issue or if the work authorized by it is suspended or abandoned for a period of one year or if such work is not completed within two years of the date of the issuance of the zoning permit. Application may be made to the Zoning Administrator for a new zoning permit to replace any permit, which shall become invalid.
