(A) The owner of a dangerous dog or potentially dangerous dog transferring ownership or possession of the dog to another person shall provide the dangerous or potentially dangerous dog declaration notice to the new owner or possessor upon the transfer of the dog.
(B) The owner of a dangerous dog or potentially dangerous dog transferring ownership or possession of the dog to another person shall provide the county’s Animal Control Department a notice containing the name and address of the prior/current owner or possessor of the dog and the new owner or possessor of the dog within three business days of the transfer.
