Any person, society or club conducting a boxing or wrestling exhibition as provided for herein shall pay into the treasury of the City the sum of fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each such exhibition. Upon payment of the fifteen dollars ($15.00) the Mayor, after receipt of the application, for such boxing or wrestling exhibition, endorsed and approved by both the Boxing and Wrestling Commission and the Mayor, shall issue to such applicant a license for such exhibition. Every promoter, promoting in the City, shall deposit with the Mayor a personal bond of not less than two hundred dollars ($200.00). The Commission shall not grant to any promoter a date for a boxing or wrestling exhibition within forty-eight hours before, or within forty-eight hours after a date granted to another applicant for such exhibition. However, if an applicant insists upon a certain date to be granted, weekly or biweekly throughout the year, the option shall rest with the Commission as to whether or not the night before such regular exhibition shall be held vacant.
