5.55.070: LIMITATION ON THE APPLICATION OF LICENSES:
A.   License applications shall be accepted for review by the city inspector/committee under the following conditions:
   1.   Multi-tenant properties, freestanding businesses, churches or schools may request, up to four (4) times a year, a maximum of two (2) mobile food service establishments at their location, for special events. Limited to three (3) continuous day events. City inspector shall determine whether there is adequate parking so as not to interfere with surrounding businesses.
   2.   Multiple vendor applications may be requested for festivals. The committee shall work with festival coordinator to determine number of vendors which shall be permitted.
   3.   Multi-tenant property may apply up to four (4) times a year for special events. No individual tenant may request food service establishments, it must be a decision of all tenants occupying a physical property. Multi-tenant property shall provide the city inspector with written permission from the property owner to hold special event.
B.   The committee may from time to time set a limit on the number of total licenses that may be issued or renewed per year. Upon receipt of application, the commissioner or his or her designee shall advise the applicant whether or not the limitation has been met.
C.   No mobile food service establishment shall be issued a license should the special event be held within one hundred fifty feet (150') of the closest exterior wall of a restaurant. (Ord. 1157, 2015)
