5.52.170: ISSUANCE OF ATTENDANT'S LICENSE:
A.   The police chief, upon consideration of an application for an attendant's license and the investigation reports and documents attached thereto, shall approve or reject the application in accordance with this section.
B.   The police chief shall authorize the city clerk to issue an attendant's license if he finds the applicant:
   1.   Is of the age of eighteen (18) years or over;
   2.   Is able to speak, read and write the English language;
   3.   Has a current, valid license issued by the state of Oklahoma, and is not currently under revocation or suspension by the Oklahoma department of public safety;
   4.   Has a safe driving record;
   5.   Has not been convicted within the five (5) years immediately preceding application for a license of any of the following offenses:
      a.   Any offense involving honesty, veracity, violence, or involving dangerous or deadly weapons,
      b.   Use or possession of controlled dangerous substances as defined in the Oklahoma uniform controlled dangerous substance act,
      c.   Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants as defined in 47 Oklahoma Statutes section 11-902,
      d.   Operating a motor vehicle while the operator's privilege to drive has been suspended or revoked;
   6.   Has met all the requirements of this article and all other applicable laws and regulations. (Ord. 740 §1, 1993)
