A. Each wrecker vehicle and all required equipment shall be subject to periodic inspection by the police chief or his designee to ensure continued maintenance and compliance. If, upon inspection, a wrecker vehicle or equipment is found not to meet the requirements of this chapter, the chief of police shall cause the vehicle to be removed from service. The permittee will not return vehicle to service until authorized by the police chief.
B. The permittee offices and storage facilities shall also be open and subject to periodic compliance by the police department inspection. Lack of compliance shall be grounds for revocation. (Ord. 740 §1, 1993)
