432.35 “PEELING”; CRACKING EXHAUST NOISES.
   (a)   Squealing of Tires.
      (1)   No person shall operate a motor vehicle upon any public street, road or alley within the City in such a manner that the vehicle is so rapidly accelerated that the tires of such vehicle create unnecessary noise or smoke.
      (2)   No person shall operate any motor vehicle on any public or private property other than streets, roads or alleys in such a manner that the vehicle is so rapidly accelerated that the tires of such vehicle create unnecessary noise or smoke.
   (b)   Loud, Cracking Pipes.
      (1)   No person shall operate any motor vehicle upon any public street, road or alley within the City in such a manner that the vehicle is so rapidly accelerated, or the engine is so accelerated, that the exhaust system of the vehicle emits a loud, cracking or shattering noise, unusual to its normal operation.
      (2)   No person shall operate any motor vehicle on any public or private property other than streets, roads or alleys in such a manner that the vehicle is so rapidly accelerated, or the engine is so accelerated, that the exhaust system of the vehicle emits a loud, cracking or shattering noise, unusual to its normal operation.
