§ 17-2802 BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES MOVED IN.
Buildings and structures moved into the Wamego Zoning Jurisdiction or from one location to another within the Jurisdiction must conform with the district zoning regulations of the district into which the building or structure is to be moved. If the building or structure is to be located within the City of Wamego, the following requirements apply:
   (a)   The building or structure must meet building, fire, safety, and health regulations which would be applicable to the building or structure if built or installed on the site, prior to issuance of an occupancy certificate by the City Building Inspector.
   (b)   Prior to removal from the initial site, the building or structure must be inspected by the City Building Inspector, who must furnish the owner with a report specifying the deficiencies of the building or structure with respect to the city's regulations, which must be corrected before an occupancy certificate may be issued. The moving of manufactured homes or other factory-built buildings and structures, such as cooling towers, batch plants, walk-in coolers, etc., to sites in the city, shall not be subject to this requirement.
   (c)   No previously occupied building intended for use as two-family or multiple-family housing shall be moved into the Wamego Zoning Jurisdiction, or from one location to another within the jurisdiction.
