§ 17-401 DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS.
   In order to classify, regulate, and restrict the location of trades, industries, residential uses, and other uses, and the location of buildings designed for specified uses to regulate and limit the height and bulk of buildings; to regulate and limit the intensity of the use of lots; to regulate and determine the area of yards and other open spaces surrounding buildings; and to regulate and restrict the density of population, the Wamego Zoning Jurisdiction is divided into districts designated as follows:
   (a)   "A-L" Agriculture District.
   (b)   "F-P" Floodplain District.
   (c)   "R-L" Residential Low-Density District.
   (d)   "R-M" Residential Medium Density District.
   (e)   "R-H" Historic Townsite Residential District.
   (f)   "RH-O" Historic Townsite Residential Overlay District.
   (g)   "R-1" Single-Family Dwelling District.
   (h)   "R-2" Two-Family Dwelling District.
   (i)   "R-3" Multiple-Family Dwelling District.
   (j)   "PUD" Planned Unit Development District.
   (k)   "M-H" Manufactured Home Overlay District.
   (l)   "M-P" Manufactured Home Park District.
   (m)   "P-I" Public and Institutional District.
   (n)   "C-S" Highway Service District.
   (o)   "C-1" Retail Business District.
   (p)   "C-2" General Commercial District.
   (q)   "C-3" Adult Entertainment District.
   (r)   "I-P" Industrial Park District with "C-S, "I-1" and "I-2" Overlays.
   (s)   "I-1" Light Industrial District.
   (t)   "I-2" Heavy Industrial District.
