§ 15-510 LICENSED VEHICLE STANDARDS.
   The following standards and requirements are hereby established as the minimum for the sanitary transportation of refuse:
   (a)   Every vehicle used for the transportation of refuse shall be included in the license unless exempted as hereinbefore described;
   (b)   Construction of vehicles used shall be such that refuse loaded therein or transported thereby shall be securely contained, and shall be similar to those manufactured for refuse collection by the following manufacturers: Garwood, Heil, Leach and Lionneway;
   (c)   All vehicles shall be equipped with a tight metal hood having adequate openings with smooth operating loading and unloading doors. The metal hood shall be similar in make and function to the metal hoods manufactured for refuse trucks by Garwood, Heil, Leach, Loadmaster and Nuway; and
   (d)   Every vehicle used for transporting refuse shall carry an identifying sign on each side. The sign shall be painted on the side of the vehicle with letters no less than two inches high and one inch in width and shall be clearly legible. A metal sign in lieu of a sign painted on each side of the vehicle will be permitted if firmly affixed to the vehicle. The sign shall include the name and telephone number under which the vehicle is licensed.
