(a) After services have been terminated for nonpayment of a delinquent billing amount, the customer shall pay a $40 disconnection fee and any applicable tax plus their delinquent billing amount before service will be restored. Payment in the form of cash, credit card or a money order shall be required.
(b) Where a utility service has been temporarily disconnected at the customer’s or consumer’s request, a disconnection fee of $40 shall be made for restoring service at the same connection for the same customer if the disconnection is for a period of less than 90 days, the same to be payable with the next ensuing bill.
(c) Utilities will only be reconnected between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) unless an emergency occurs.
