(a) The Board shall annually meet and organize by the election of a Chairperson, a Secretary and a Treasurer and such other officers as they may deem necessary. The Board shall fix the date and place of its regular meetings and special meetings may be called by the Chairperson or upon written request of a majority of the members in the manner provided by law.
(b) Any Board member who has three consecutive, unexcused absences from Board meetings or who misses more than six meetings in a calendar year will be considered inactive and informed in writing that a replacement to the Board will be sought by the governing body.
