All monies received from these charges shall be deposited to the credit of the Permanent Maintenance Fund in a checking account in a local bank. Funds may be withdrawn only by a check signed by the City Manager and countersigned by the City Clerk. All monies in the Permanent Maintenance Fund may be invested in bonds of the United States or the State of Kansas, or any municipality thereof. The interest received from such investments shall be deposited to the credit of the General Fund and shall be used only for the maintenance and operation of the cemetery.
