§ 12-109 GRAVE OPENING; FUNERALS.
   (a)   No grave shall be opened in the city cemetery by anyone other than City of Wamego employees or contract workers.
   (b)   Standard graves shall be excavated to a depth of at least five feet, except that the excavation required for an infant interment shall be not less than three and one-half feet. No part of the container or vault shall be closer to the ground surface than 30 inches.
   (c)   Cremains graves shall be excavated to a depth of three feet, six inches to four feet and shall have a width of at least one foot. Encasement of cremains in poured concrete shall be required for all non-permanent containers which are not contained in a vault. Three inches poured concrete shall be allowed under the container and concrete shall not be closer then one foot from the surface.
   (d)   Funeral processions must be in the city cemetery by 11:00 a.m. on weekends and holidays.
