The City of Wamego is hereby divided into two wards, which shall be designated as the East Ward and the West Ward, and the wards shall be divided and separated by the centerline of Poplar Street from the north limits of the city to the intersection of the centerline of Poplar Street and Third Street, thence west along the centerline of Third Street to the intersection of the centerline of Third Street and the centerline of Vine Street, thence south along the centerline of Vine Street to the south limits of the city. All persons so residing east of the line shall be residents of the East Ward and all persons so residing west of the line shall be residents of the West Ward.
