§ 1-205 VACANCIES IN GOVERNING BODY; HOW FILLED.

In case of the disability or any vacancy occurring by death, resignation or removal from office of from the city, the governing body shall, by a majority vote of the remaining members within 30 days after the happening of such vacancy, appoint some suitable person to fill the unexpired term.
